SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The 2014 Reenactment of the Battle of Natural Bridge, Florida will take place on March 1st and 2nd at the
Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park in Woodville (South of Tallahassee). Events are planned for the
entire weekend, with the memorial service and main battle reenactment scheduled for Sunday, March 2nd.

All events take place at Natural Bridge Historic State Park which is located at 7502 Natural Bridge Road,
Tallahassee, Florida 32305 (near Woodville).
To reach the park from Tallahassee, travel south from Tallahassee on State Road 363 (Woodville Highway)
for six miles to Woodville. At Woodville, turn left on Natural Bridge Road (look for the brown sign) and drive six
miles to the park.
The Battle of Natural Bridge was fought on March 6, 1865 and was one of the last significant Confederate
victories of the Civil War. The battle preserved Tallahassee's status as the only Southern capital east of the
Mississippi River not captured by Union forces and also prevented the economic devastation of key areas of
