Boone, Bourbon & Bluegrass
Few places in the world can boast the unique
history, scenery and culture of the great
Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Originally discovered and explored by Native
Americans, this was the hunting ground of
such famed nations as the Cherokee and
Shawnee. When men like Daniel Boone
came over the mountains to hunt, explore
and settle, they were warned that Kentucky
was a "dark and bloody ground," that would
claim many lives. It was also, however, a
land of amazing opportunity and spectacular
scenic beauty.

Rich in both historic sites and natural
wonders, Kentucky is today a fascinating
destination. Highlights include sites
associated with Daniel Boone and other
early pioneers, Civil War battlefields, the birth-
places of both Abraham Lincoln and
Jefferson Davis and Mammoth Cave National
Park, home of the world's longest cave
system.
