Johnson, Arkansas
Inn at the Mill may very well be the
most unique hotel in Arkansas.
Designed around the historic Johnson
Mill, the Inn is an unexpected oasis of
history and architecture set amidst
one of the South's fastest-growing
business communities.

First registered as a commercial
establishment in 1835, Johnson Mill
is believed to be the oldest business
in Arkansas. Partially burned by
Confederate troops following the
nearby Battle of Pea Ridge in 1862,
the mill was refurbished after the war
and functioned as an operating mill
well into the 20th century.

In 1992 the mill reopened as a unique
hotel facility, noted for its fascinating
blend of historic and modern
architecture. Designed by architect
James Lambeth, the Inn features
suites designed to reflect the interests
and styles of such diverse individuals
as Walt Disney, Frederic Remington
and Frank Lloyd Wright.
Johnson Mill and Inn at the Mill are located at
Exit 69 (Johnson exit) off Interstate 540 in
Northwest Arkansas. For more information,
