Hot Springs National Park, in Arkansas, for
example, preserves a series of natural hot
springs that have been a focal point for
visitors for thousands of years.

Similarly, erosion has created a wonderland
in Southwest Georgia's Providence Canyon
State Park that draws visitors from around
the world. Even World War II hero General
George S. Patton made the trip to see
Georgia's "Little Grand Canyon."
